We had a great time in El Gouna, Egypt and there are many highlights to share.
*Baby enjoyed playing with other children from around the world at the mini-club.
*We got upgraded to an extra special room with wonderful views of the Red Sea and lagoons.
*The staff was super-friendly and played lots with Baby.
*Oasis night was fun. We enjoyed eating out in the desert, under a tent with camels around and stars in the sky.
*I enjoyed a few treatments at the spa while the boys hung out at the pool. (Daddy insisted!)
*The Red Sea was very shallow and clear for a long way out.
*The food was incredible and the desserts too delicious...cakes and squares oozing with white honey...
*Just being together. Just the three of us.
*The resort was very beautiful, overflowing with flowers.
*Going "downtown" was always a funny adventure, especially on those crazy blue buses!
*We got to know the two brothers band- nice guys even if they didn't know a lot of songs.
*Eating koftas on the beach.
*Daddy swimming over to take a picture of a camel on the other side of the lagoon and his camera floating off in the opposite direction!
*None of us got sunburned!
*Daddy and Baby being mistaken for Egyptians everywhere we went..."hi, Egyptian Baby"..."Hey Egyptian, are you Egyptian?!"
*Bellydancing lessons and dancing the Salsa like old times!
