Happy St. Patrick's Day!! To celebrate the occasion, we invited Mr. Guinness and Mr. Bushmills and slow-cooked almost 2 kilos of lamb leg for close to 3 hours. Everyone pitched in to make the feast. Frunty grated carrots for a lemon-dressed salad. His finishing touch was to grate some lemon rind for extra flavour. Grandpa chopped onions and celery, sauteed them with white wine to make a wonderful mussel soup. The Mommy prepared the fresh mint and caper gravy. And roasted garlic and potatoes wedges completed the table. Grandma got her hair done so she was elegant for the party. The childrens danced Irish gigs and we watched photos from past Ireland trips.
