Just so everyone knows how silly we can be at times, here's a picture of us burning our trash. Actually, we’re doing much more than that. We found two crafts gathering dust that we made last year after our trip to Cairo: an Egyptian home and a Nile River boat. We were going to simply throw them out until “providence” would deliver us a sparrow that must have flown into our clean windows and conked out on our back porch. Rather than throw out the bird and the crafts, we decided to recreate the ancient Egyptian funerary solar barque ceremony by setting everything on fire. (By the way, in the background, you can see the remnants of the climbing vine that Felix, the "cute" rabbit, decided to nibble to death.)
