Frunty got a "Z" shaved into his head yesterday. He copied the hair style of another boy at the "camping sauvage" who got a buzz cut and then a design razored into the short hair. Pit now wants the same thing too. This savage camping is turning out to be true to its name. I suppose this means the boys have made new friends and Pit is starting to warm up to the idea of speaking Italian to the other children. Frunty has a head start on the talking which would explain why he's sitting on Georgia's lap playing games. (Georgia is Frunty's little cousin only 2 years his senior.) Food continues to be an issue because of the lack of refrigeration and the special dietary requirements. Apparently the other kids love the corn crackers and other gluten-free products which mean the supplies have dwindled and are hard to replace in Corsica. I wonder if Giovanni is supplying the camp with fish from the sea. The cool air has died down which might mean the sea is calmer.
