Our last day in Belgium

On our last day in Belgium, Filip and Stan drove us to Wezeembeek-Oppem so we could spend time with our American friends, the Hill family. After a wonderful sushi lunch together, we went to Marie's Garden to pick our own organic veggies! It was really great to enjoy time together and be in the fresh outdoors! That night, we returned to our friend's home by the Grande Place. Lisa, Frederic and Alice had just returned from Hong Kong so together we made soup and a pasta sauce with all the fresh veggies. Alice helped cut the pumpkin for the soup! We left Belgium the very next morning after an incredible month in Europe!

Thank you to the Hill Family: Mandy, Matt, Addie, Stella, Emory and Arleigh- we had a beautiful day together thanks to you all! And to Lisa et famille: thanks for your lovely apartment and helping us prepare a healthy good bye dinner! We had such a happy time together!
