Our first full day with the grandparents and we decided to start our day right by walking over to Le Jardin de Nicolas for lunch. This is where we had previously had a wonderful lunch (all 6 of us) when Pit was just 2 weeks old. Steak Frites all-around and we were set for a metro trip into town. Unfortunately, it had been drizzling/raining most of the time we were out but it did not stop us from wandering around the Grand Place, under the Royal Galleries, down the Rue de Boucher and eventually to Planet Chocolat for a 1 hour, extremely didactic presentation on chocolate - from plantation to praline. In the end, the fine samples made it worth sitting still. The boys were on their best behaviour and definitely deserved the treats which are so often denied them due to their special diets.
