SIngapore Airshow

It was a boys day out today and what a better way to spend it than to see airplanes, jet fighters, and other defence applications. Public transit to the exhibition grounds ran like clockwork and we arrived just in time to hear an F-15 thunder overhead. The flight display was a little disappointing but that's ok because we wouldn't have wanted to stay out so long. It was blistering hot, so we joined the crowds indoors to visit some of the displays from many big and small name companies in the aviation and defence industries. Afterwards, we wandered back outside to the static displays and managed to see the President of Singapore, SR Nathan while looking at an Australian F-111. After 3 hours, Pit had enough of the show so we started to head home just as the second flight display started. For the second time that day, we were treated to the roar of the F-15.
