Family from Calgary

We are really thrilled to have Uncle Andrew, Matthew and Daniel here as our second set of visitors! We have not seen them since Greece which was nearly two years ago. We really appreciate their visit and the fact that they came all this way only for one week. Good on them!

They arrived during the night and the very next morning, M and D helped me take Pit to school, taking turns running and cycling there and back as we only have two bikes right now. We stopped at Fengshan 85 where the boys had some noodles and we mixed several drinks: cane juice, lime juice and ice lemon tea, trying to make them less sweet. This was after we all had a big breakfast at home prepared by Amy!

Later in the day, Frunty, Pit, Amy and I met AMD at the Singapore Flyer. Afterwards, Frunty asked M, "Did you enjoy your flight?!" We were lucky that the rain showers were finished and blue skies and sun prevailed during our "flight". We learned that AMD had walked around town, visited Merlion and enjoyed a bumboat trip.

At 6pm we met the Daddy at Suntec mall and we all had a nice dinner in the food court. Most of us ordered sushi. Then two cabs took off from the mall. AMD and I were in the "massage" cab, headed for a treatment at Market 58. The "home" cab had the others who had to work and go to bed, respectively. What a really fun first day in Singapore and AMD are already talking about coming back for longer next time! Who doesn't love Singapore? I haven't met one person yet!
