Big Day!

Today Frunty's fluorescent, green cast comes off at 3pm at KK hospital in Singapore! He has been such a brave, big guy. Hardly complaining about pain or not being able to go swimming, Frunty also did not go too stir crazy. Luckily there were lots of boxes from the new neighbours from the Czech Republic, so the kids made tons of forts in the garage. With one of the boxes, Amy rigged it up as a basketball net and the kids enjoyed playing endless ball games also in the garage. Last night, Papa and I did come home to find Frunty riding around on his bike with no helmet or shoes when he was supposed to be getting ready for bed and not risking his arm....but that is another story.

After the cast removal, Frunty will have a temporary brace which can come on and off for swimming. Luckily because we had to Krabi on Saturday for a week of snorkelling. Perfect timing. The 4 of us will celebrate by going to see the new Cat and Dog movie after the hospital so it'll be a fun and memorable experience as it has been from the beginning. Hey, even if we are careful, accidents still happen. So let's have fun!!!
