At about 3:30am this morning, I heard another of Pit's usual use of the term "super". In the still darkness of the wee hours, he breaks the quiet with his comment, "I'm super hungry!" He's in the habit of simply indicating his state - I'm thirsty, I'm hungry, I have to pee.... and so my standard reply is something along the lines of "good for you". Sometimes we remind him (Alex Trebek style) that the correct phrase is in the form of a question. And more importantly, a polite question. At 3:30am, I never heard the question and so the darkness stayed still. Somehow, he fell back asleep without his snack but I stayed awake until dawn and kept wondering if I should get treats and snacks for myself....
